You will need to provide name, email, and phone number of the new ticket holder. All tickets will be held at “WILL CALL”.
- Make Hotel Reservation
Make your hotel reservation by contacting the Ventura Beach Marriott directly (800) 228-9290 or book your group rate on line for New Year’s Eve Gatsby Gala. You must purchase a Gatsby Gala Event Ticket to qualify for special group pricing. Mention Rate Code NYEGATSBY for discount room rate of $149 per night (while room block lasts). This very special rate INCLUDES self-parking (not valet), in room basic WIFI, taxes and fees!! How awesome is that? It won’t last long, so don’t wait!
NOTE: If you are not staying overnight at the hotel, self-parking is $8 (up to 12 hrs); valet is $18.
- Go Shopping
Hit the vintage and consignment stores in your area to find 1920’s Great Gatsby attire. For ladies, this era meant heavy makeup, finger-waved bobs, feathered headbands, and fringed or heavily beaded cocktail dresses – known as the “Flapper” style. Ladies can accessorize with feathered boas, long pearls, over-the-knee stockings and red lipstick. Men can emulate the gangster style of Al Capone or the elegantly dressed look of the Great Gatsby himself. Men dressed in pinstriped suits with black or white ties over a black shirt, or tailored suits with vests and bow ties. Men can accessorize with gold jewelry and hats.
